John Harvey Kellogg war ein Gesundheitsapostel, wie er im Buche stand: Der amerikanische Diätpapst warnte vor fleischlicher Kost, vor Sex und riet zu gründlichem Kauen. Am 31. Mai 1894 ließ er sich das Rezept für seine Cornflakes patentieren, die nach nichts schmeckten - noch nicht.
