Galileo Galilei hatte richtig Ärger mit der Inquisition bekommen, als er am 22. Februar 1632 sein "Gespräch über die zwei wichtigsten Weltsysteme" unter die Leute brachte. Dabei war seine Behauptung, die Erde drehe sich um die Sonne und nicht umgekehrt, noch nicht einmal des Problem dabei.
