Wenn es einen hinaus in die Welt zieht, muss man gehen. Oder fliegen. Dachte sich der Abenteurer Richard Evelyn Byrd und brach mal eben zum Südpol auf, um darüber weg zu fliegen. Angesteckt vom Abenteuergeist wollte er danach gleich noch einmal dahin. Diesmal ohne Flugzeug.
