Als Howard Carter 1922 das Grab des Pharaos Tutanchamun im Tal der Könige entdeckte, ging die Nachricht davon um die ganze Welt und entfachte überall anhaltende Begeisterung.
Die Mumie des jungen Königs ist die Einzige, die sich nach Öffnung des Grabes heute noch in der ursprünglichen Grabstätte befindet.
