Eine Eistüte ist praktisch: Eis kann so ohne Besteck und Geschirr angeboten werden, und die Verpackung wird gleich mitgegessen, so dass kein Abfall entsteht. Das Backen der Waffeltüten dauerte früher allerdings eine Weile. Zu lange, fand der geschäftstüchtige Eisverkäufer Italo Marchiony.
