Es war der Prototyp eines Luftschiffs, und Jesuitenpater Bartolomeu Lourenço de Gusmão brannte für seine Heißluftballonidee - und leider taten das auch bald die Vorhänge im Königspalast. Doch Gusmãos Heißluftballon war nicht der erste in der Menschheitsgeschichte - und sollte schon gar nicht der letzte sein.
