There is a long history of strange and unexplainable happenings in the area between Bennington, Shaftsbury and Somerset most of which take place in the area of Glastenbury Mountain. Legends of man-eating rocks, strange balls of light, mystery smells and large hairy creatures date back to before the time of European settlers in the area.
