Robert Kleason was a man with a troubled past. He converted to Mormonism while living in Austin, Texas but that didn't stop his criminal behavior. He landed in jail for a weapons charge and when the Mormon church did nothing to get him out of jail, Kleason became angry. Two young men, Mormon missionaries named Mark Fisher and Gary Darley were told by their bishop not to meet with Kleason anymore because area leaders in the church believed he was dangerous. Sadly, the missionaries thought they owed Robert Kleason one last visit. It was their last visit ever
