Ramsay Scrivo suffered with paranoid schizophrenia. He had a violent temper and troubles with the law. His father died and then his mother, Donna Scrivo's house burned down. She was forced to move in with her angry and alcoholic son. Their volatile relationship and violent arguments got worse and then, neighbors began smelling a strong chemical odor, the scent of burning, and the sounds of a power saw. Days later, two women doing school carpool found trash bags full of human body parts on the side of the road in Michigan.
