Arthur Duperrault had been saving for years to take his family on a dream sailing vacation. He hired captain Julian Harvey to assist the family on their trip to the Bahamas aboard the Bluebelle, a large rented sailboat. The vacation started off like a dream but it ended in a nightmare. Julian Harvey was found floating on the ship's dingy and with him was the dead body of the Duperrault's youngest child, Renee. Julian was lauded as a hero but as the Duperrault family was grieved, everything changed. Word came from a Greek oil freighter that sailors onboard had picked something up: a young girl floating alone in the middle of the ocean.
