A bloody murder scene covered in rose petals uncovers a sinister plot. This is a first for me. For the first time in five years, I am having a difficult time finding the level of empathy I usually feel for a murder victim. Christina Parcell was well liked in her South Carolina community but that is because people did not know who she was behind closed doors.

Christina Parcell and John Mello shared a daughter. The couple was no longer together and Christina was dating a man named Bradley Post. John Mello became convinced that Christina and Bradley were sexually abusing his daughter. John tried to involve the police and the courts, but got nowhere so he decided to ask his close friend, Juilliard trained concert pianist Zachary Hughes, for help. Doing what? Getting rid of Christina for good. After Christina is murdered in a brutal fashion, and her body is found surrounded by rose petals left by the killer, the police uncover very disturbing information. John Mello's accusations about Christina were true. She and her fiancee, Bradley Post, were engaged in the most disturbing behavior imaginable and the little girl was in fact being abused. Ring camera footage and DNA lead the police to their killer and when they find him, he seals not only his own fate, but the fate of his friend John Mello as well.
