The Machete Killer: A serial killer stalks Northern California farmland
This serial killer has all but been forgotten. When California farmers began noticing strange mounds of dirt in their orchards, the police were called. They found one body and then two. Two became three and three became sixteen. Then sixteen became twenty five. Why don't we remember the name of Juan Corona?

Show Notes
Juan Corona was a violent man suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. He was always trying to prove he was the most macho man in the room, but Juan was secretly gay. Migrant workers and drifters began disappearing in the farmlands and orchards of Northern California and then one day, a Japanese farmer noticed a strange mound of dirt in his orchards. He called the sheriff who decided to dig it up. Cops found a body and then two. Search helicopters were brought in to search from the air and what the pilots saw was shocking: mounds and mounds of freshly dug and covered graves among the sun soaked peach trees. This serial killer has been mostly forgotten and so have his victims.
