Garbage bags full of human remains begin turning up in public garbage cans around NYC. The police and the public are horrified when it happens again and again. All of the bodies found belong to gay men last seen in gay bars and clubs in Manhattan. For years, the police are stymied but as forensic science advances, their killer comes into view.

This is the story of one of the most evil and depraved serial killers you've never heard of. Thomas Mulcahey, Anthony Morero and Michael Sakara all left their favorite piano bars never to be seen again. Their bodies, carefully dismembered into seven pieces by someone with surgical knowledge begin to turn up in public garbage cans and along roadways in the North East. The police are desperate to catch this serial killer but then he goes quiet. In the years following the murders, forensic science leaps forward and so the police decide to try again. When their killer comes into view, they find a very strange, very intelligent and very organized man but it's what they find in his bedroom that confirms the scope of his depravity
