It's the era of the serial killer. 1970s Los Angeles is a dangerous place but when the bodies of three women and girls are found in one day, the police and the public take notice. Soon, there are more bodies, all posed on hillsides around LA. The police cannot catch the killer until they get a surprising break.

Angelo Buono and Kenneth Bianchi were vicious and violent men, two cousins living together in Los Angeles. Kenneth Bianchi also had a police fetish and a lust for power. The two men acquired fake police badges and began using them to imitate cops in order to get women to stop on the streets. Soon, those women began turning up dead in the hills around Los Angeles. Body after body is discovered and the police grow frustrated as the murders continued. As the investigation wore on, a call came to the LA detective working the case. An arrest had been made in Washington state and the victims bore the same ligature marks as the Los Angeles victims. Had the killer finally been caught
