Christmas Killing Spree: The Devils of Dayton
In 1992, four bored teenagers who called themselves The Downtown Posse went on a killing spree in Dayton, Ohio. Marvallous Keene, Laura Taylor, Heather Matthews and DeMarcus Smith, just teenagers, began shooting people throughout the city because they wanted to "get a little drama in their lives." They killed six people and wounded two others in a matter of hours for no reason at all. Detective Doyle Burke was tasked with finding the killers and barely escaped with his life when he did. ❤️ Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu9SNFGpY_odhZT_LevkGvw 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/darkheartswithstacylee?igsh=Z2d3bTJtZ2NsNXIy&utm_source=qr 🎵 TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@darkheartswithstacylee?_t=8ns1oHffLyd&_r=1 💰 Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/DarkHeartswithStacyLee?utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator 💵 CashApp: https://cash.app/$stacyleeDWD 🤑 Venmo: https://www.venmo.com/u/DarkHeartsWithStacyLee 📧 Email: [email protected]

Show Notes
We discuss the killing spree that occurred over Christmas in 1992. Six murders were committed by a group of teenagers who were bored. They shot people randomly on the streets and stole their sneakers. They robbed a neighborhood grocery store, murdered the clerk and wounded a customer. They got only forty four dollars for her life. They shot and killed one of the gang member's ex boyfriends and then went back and murdered two of his friends, dumping their bodies in a gravel pit. The police were on a skeleton crew because of the holiday but soon, it was all hands on deck. Body after body was discovered and the police realized they had a very serious problem on their hands. When the group is caught, one of the gang members wants a shootout with the police, but thankfully that did not happen. At trial, the group leader, Marvallous Keene is sentenced to death. He is executed in 2009.
