Daniel Perez, aka Lou Castro, claimed to speak with God, that he had supernatural abilities, that he could heal the sick and control the weather. He formed a small cult he called Angel's Landing that he furnished with expensive cars and toys. No one knew where the money came from. And then, cult members began to die.

Daniel Perez is a conman. After being convicted of sexually assaulting two girls in Texas, he faked his own death and took on the name Lou Castro. He started a small cult that he called Angel's Landing, telling his followers that he spoke to God and had magical abilities. But he needed something to sustain his powers: young girls. A dogged Kansas cop named Ron Goodwyn started to get suspicious and for years, he watched "Lou Castro" and his cult. He knew something was going on but couldn't seem to get the evidence he needed to take the cult down. Then Daniel Perez made a fatal mistake. He opened a bank account using a fake ID which is a crime. Once the cop had the cult leader in jail, he set to work unraveling the mystery and what he found is worse than what he imagined
