This story will make you angry. When a young Kentucky mother is brutally murdered and stuffed in the trunk of her car, the case quickly goes cold. The police have various suspects and quite a bit of evidence. They just can't seem to solve the murder of Corinna Mullen. And there is a very good reason for that.

Corinna Mullen was working at the Bardstown, Kentucky police department, saving up to go to nursing school. When she discovered that an acquaintance was selling drugs and moving stolen property, she told one of the police officers she worked with. Then, she ended up murdered. Her boyfriend, Jimmie Springer was put on trial and acquitted and the case went cold for twenty years. After a determined cop was assigned the cold case, he began to work it diligently and what he found was shocking. All of the evidence collected had vanished. Finally, the Kentucky State Police got involved and uncovered a disturbing history of lies, deceit, and cover ups
