Aja Dang is the OG influencer. She launched her YouTube page and site before the days of blogging became as big as they are now. We launched our careers around the same time, and after meeting earlier this year on a USC panel talk, I couldn't help but ask her to come and chat with me. It's so important for you guys to know the reality behind building a brand off of yourself, and for you to be aware that being an "influencer" isn't what it's cracked up to be all of the time.
