Neil deGrasse Tyson
Welcome to The Pretty Intense Podcast. Today we have a fantastic guest, Neil deGrasse Tyson. Neil is an astrophysicist, host of the StarTalk podcast, and the director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History. He has also received 21 honorary doctorates, as well as NASA's "Distinguished Public Service Metal." Everybody knows who Neil deGrasse Tyson is. He is the most funny, charismatic, smart, cool, nerdy scientist ever. I interviewed Neil four years ago. He was one of my first interviews. He was just so kind and generous, and his interview is one of our most popular, so we are thrilled to have him back. Neil has a new book out called, "To Infinity And Beyond.” This book is a must read. Today we talked a ton about the moon. We talked about the Big Bang. We talked about asteroids, global warming, ETs. This episode was so much fun. Only Neil can make a earth devastating meteor impact seem fun. We hope you enjoy this out of this world episode.
