Nashville Predators Trade Michael Bunting to Dallas Stars for Draft Pick
The Nashville Predators have made their fourth trade ahead of the deadline, sending forward Michael Bunting to the Dallas Stars in exchange for a 2026 third-round draft pick. This deal gives the Predators a total of eleven picks in the 2026 NHL draft, including two second-rounders and three fifth-rounders. Bunting, who joined the Predators last March in a trade with Pittsburgh, has been a solid contributor to the teams bottom six this season, scoring 31 points (13 goals and 18 assists) in 61 games while keeping his penalty minutes to a career-low 16. He is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer after completing a three-year, $13.5 million deal. The Predators have moved most of their pending free agents, with just Erik Haula and Tyson Jost remaining, and will host the Boston Bruins tonight at 7 PM central time at Bridgestone Arena.
