Tragedy Strikes Dallas: Woman Killed, Young Driver Arrested in Fatal Crash
On March 12, 2026, a heartbreaking incident occurred in Dallas, Texas, resulting in the death of 60-year-old Linda Louise Knowles and the arrest of 21-year-old Carnell Watkins. Knowles was struck and killed by Watkins vehicle while crossing the street in far east Dallas. The crash happened around 10:30 PM in the 2700 block of North Buckner Boulevard. Watkins was charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and is currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
