Show Notes

In March 2016, a Native American womans remains were discovered in Fort Worth, Texas, dating back over 1100 years. Named Trinity, she was reburied in December 2017 with a simple stone marker. Eddie Sandoval, a Native American elder, visits her grave often, feeling a deep connection to her story. The area was once prairie land with nomadic hunters and gatherers. Archaeologists praised the prompt reporting of the find, and Sandoval is now working to create a permanent monument at the site.
