Show Notes
Hunter Mackey, a 27-year-old man, has been arrested in Oklahoma for a sexual assault in Texas in 2021. DNA evidence linked him to the crime in Fannin County and hes also suspected in a similar attack in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mackey was arrested in February and faces a first-degree rape charge. The victim met him through social media and was assaulted after being driven to another location. Investigators collected DNA from the victim and added it to a national database, which matched evidence from the Oklahoma case in August 2024. Mackey is being held in Pottawatomie County Jail while both states continue to investigate.
