Meet Lucas Ye, a second-grader from Mountain View, California, who designed NASAs Artemis Two zero gravity indicator, Rise. Inspired by the Earthrise photo, Rise is a plush moon with an Earth-inspired cap, joining the ranks of Snoopy and Baby Yoda as space mascots. The crew will take Rise on their ten-day trip around the moons orbit, testing NASAs new rocket and spacecraft. With public names on a MicroSD card inside Rise, Artemis Two is paving the way for future moon landings and beyond.
