Arlingtons Planning and Zoning Commission has approved a new drilling zone and reduced the special use permit area for Total E&P Barnett USA at Glenn Day Drive. The company plans to shrink the permit from 7.479 acres to 6.412 acres, located north of Ragland Road, south of Debbie Lane, and west of Glenn Day Drive. The site, previously approved for gas well drilling in 2006, will feature additional trees and a masonry wall as requested by the commission.
