Natural disasters are not God's punishment. Prayer should transform us and the world, not manipulate a divine force. We don’t worship Zeus—we worship Jesus Christ. We often misunderstand prayer and project our fears onto God. True Christian prayer invites us to change ourselves and reflect God's love and justice in a broken world.
