Heavenly Father, on this day we rejoice in the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the pure and holy Mother of your Son. Through her "yes," the world received its Saviour, and your promise of salvation was fulfilled. Grant that we, who celebrate her nativity, may grow in faith, hope, and love, and, by her prayers, come closer to the heart of Christ your Son. May her life inspire us to trust in your plan and to serve you with joyful hearts. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Seeds of Peace and Hope Heavenly Father, Creator of all, we thank You for the beauty of creation, a gift entrusted to our care. Forgive us for the wounds we have inflicted upon the earth and the poor. Pour out Your Spirit from on high, that deserts may bloom and hearts be renewed. Make us seeds of peace and hope, willing to die to selfishness and rise with Christ. Strengthen us to care for our common home with justice, humility, and love. Through Mary, Mother of Creation, may we walk as pilgrims of hope and help build Your Kingdom of peace. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Seven Sorrows of Mary Rosary is a devotional chaplet reflecting on Mary’s deep sorrows, featuring a special rosary with seven sets of seven Hail Mary’s, each set meditating on a sorrowful event in her life.

In the quiet of our hearts, we come to you, Our Lady of Sorrows, Mother of the Crucified, Mother of us all. O most Sorrowful Virgin Mary, you stood faithfully beside your Son, Pierced by seven swords of sorrow. You bore suffering with perfect love, And your heart became a mirror of His Passion. We turn to you now, Mother of Sorrows, Asking for the grace to suffer with hope, To love with courage, And to unite our wounds to yours. The Seven Sorrows of Mary: The Prophecy of Simeon – Joy and warning: “A sword will pierce your heart.” The Flight into Egypt – You fled in darkness, carrying the Light of the world. The Loss of the Child Jesus – Three days of searching, your heart aching with absence. Meeting Jesus on the Way to the Cross – You saw Him bloodied, burdened, yet loved without condemnation. Standing at the Foot of the Cross – You received His final breath with silent strength, becoming Mother of the Church. The Crucifixion and Descent – His lifeless body rested in your arms; your tears watered the seed of salvation. The Burial of Christ – Stone sealed the silence, yet you waited in hope, trusting God even in death. O Lady of Sorrows, Teach us to remain with Christ in suffering, To be brave in grief, And to believe in the promise of resurrection. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

God of truth and light, You called John the Baptist to prepare the way for Your Son, crying out in the wilderness, calling sinners to repentance, and shining the light of justice in the courts of kings.When the cost of truth was death, he did not flinch. Patroness of Mothers and Persevering Prayer O loving St. Monica, faithful wife, patient mother, and devoted servant of God, you wept and prayed for the conversion of your beloved son, Augustine, trusting that God's mercy would triumph in time. Teach us to pray with trust, to love without measure, and to surrender our worries to Christ, as you did with tears and unwavering belief. St. Monica, companion of the sorrowing and model of holy endurance, pray for us and for all who await the return of prodigal hearts. Through your example, may we draw nearer to Jesus, who hears every mother’s cry and answers every faithful prayer. Amen.
