Google is facing a legal challenge from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and a US District Judge, who ruled that Google's online advertising business was illegally monopolized. This ruling, and a separate one from last year regarding Google's search engine dominance, could lead to significant changes in Google's business practices, potentially including the divestment of certain assets or a forced breakup of its advertising business.
