A 7.4-magnitude earthquake off Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula triggered temporary tsunami warnings across the Pacific, including Hawaii. Within forty minutes, the watch for Hawaii was canceled after experts concluded there was no possibility of a devastating tsunami.
