Russia will announce the next round of direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in the nearest future, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said. The neutral status of Ukraine remains one of Russia's key demands in the peace negotiations, he emphasised. This comes after weeks of stalled peace negotiations US President Donald Trump tried brokering since February this year. The Kremlin will announce the next round of direct talks between the two warring neighbours, Lavrov told a security summit in Moscow.
