Days of our Lives spoilers suggest fans are in for a treat as Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is about to embark on a risky mission to save Titan and the Kiriakis mansion. Xander, who once ran an international blood diamond smuggling ring, may find himself returning to his criminal past to bail out the family's legacy. Victor (John Aniston)'s son is forced to juggle his desire to save his family's estate and his need to maintain the trust of his loved ones, specifically Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).
Back in 2015, Xander, then known as Xander Cook, was involved in high-level smuggling with his former lover, Serena Mason (Melissa Archer). Serena hid valuable diamonds inside an elephant statue, which she gave to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). The statue became a symbol of Xander's criminal past, eventually leading to the murder of Serena by Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), the Necktie Killer.
DOOL spoilers indicate that now, after a series of unfortunate events caused by Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), and exposed by Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), the Kiriakis family faces the threat of losing everything. Despite the looming crisis, Xander is determined to protect the family's assets, even if it means resorting to questionable methods.
Spoilers for Days of our Lives reveal that Xander's criminal past, coupled with the knowledge of Victor's shady dealings, could be the family's only hope. He may have access to a stash of blood diamonds or illicit cash from his Africa Days. However, using this money could expose the family to old enemies from the blood diamond trade or international authorities.
More DOOL spoilers hint that in the midst of all the chaos, Xander's primary concern remains the well-being of his young daughter Victoria and Sarah. Yet, his actions could risk his relationship with them, especially Sarah, who has just granted him partial custody of their child.
