Psalm 91:9–10 — Jesus, Place Your Protection Around My Home Tonight and Guard Every Heart Under This Roof Welcome to Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, live from London. As evening settles across the world, we pray together with listeners across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, and the United States. Wherever this prayer finds you tonight, pause for a moment. Jesus is near, and His peace is present in this place. Psalm 91:9–10 (NIV) “If you say, ‘The Lord is my refuge,’ and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you.” Psalm 23:6 (NIV) “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV) “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you.” Lord Jesus, as the evening gathers and homes begin to quiet, we turn our hearts toward You. The day has carried its responsibilities and challenges, but now we rest again under the shelter of Psalm 91. Your Word reminds us that when we make the Lord our refuge, Your protection surrounds our lives. Wherever someone is listening tonight, breathe slowly and release the weight of the day. Jesus walks with you. His presence fills this moment with calm and assurance. Jesús, protege nuestros hogares y llena nuestras familias con tu paz. Jesus Cristo, guarda nossa casa e cobre nossa vida com tua proteção. Across nations and languages we place our trust in the same Shepherd. As Psalm 23 declares, Your goodness and mercy follow us through every season. Even when the world feels uncertain, Your faithfulness remains constant. Tonight we ask You to guard every home and every family. Let Your peace rest upon every heart that calls upon Your name. Let Your presence fill the rooms where this prayer is heard. Like the promise of Psalm 121, the One who watches over us never sleeps. Through the night Your protection remains. Jesus, You are our refuge and our peace. Tonight we trust Your protection. Tonight we rest in Your presence. Tonight we place our homes safely in Your hands. Amen.
