Psalm 91:4 — Jesus, Spread Your Wings Over My First Light and Teach My Heart to Rise With Courage Into This Day Welcome to Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, live from London, England — reaching Brazil, Spain, Peru, Mexico, and Colombia. Psalm 91:4 (NIV): “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” Salmo 91:4 — “Ele o cobrirá com Suas penas, e sob Suas asas você encontrará refúgio.” “He leads me beside quiet waters.” / “Ele me guia a águas tranquilas.” Psalm 37:5 (NIV): “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will do this.” Salmo 37:5 — “Entregue o seu caminho ao Senhor; confie nEle, e Ele agirá.” morning courage • guided peace • surrendered trust coragem da manhã • paz guiada • confiança rendida There is something sacred about the early hours when the world begins to stir and your heart is deciding what story it will live in today. This is where Jesus, Jesús, Jesus Cristo meets you—not with pressure, not with demand, but with wings extended over the first light breaking through your window. Psalm 91 tells us that under His wings we find refuge. Not after you feel strong. Not after you have clarity. Now. In this exact beginning. Every morning carries its own weight—decisions waiting, tasks calling, thoughts competing for space. But “Ele me guia a águas tranquilas”—He leads you into calm before you lead yourself into anything else. This morning is not asking you to be enough; it is inviting you to find safety under the feathers of God’s promise, where courage rises not from effort but from presence. When you commit your way to the Lord—“Entregue o seu caminho ao Senhor”—you place the direction of your day into hands far steadier than your own. And Jesus holds your steps gently. He doesn’t drag you into the day; He walks with you. He whispers strength where fear tries to speak. He breathes peace into the places where yesterday’s noise tries to continue its argument. So as this new day begins, let Jesús remind you that you rise from a place of refuge, not uncertainty. Let Jesus Cristo settle your heart before you step into anything. The courage you need will come—not from adrenaline, but from His nearness. The peace you long for will come—not from control, but from surrender. May this morning be the beginning of a day shaped by the wings that cover you, the waters that calm you, and the God who walks with you.morning prayer, Psalm 91, Jesus, courage for the day, early morning devotion, spiritual refuge, Portuguese devotional, Spanish devotional, South America prayer, guided peace morning courage • Jesus covering • Psalm 91 refuge • guided peace • Latin America devotional • trust in God
