Psalm 91:4 — Jesus, Let the First Light of Morning Rise Over My Life and Teach My Heart to Trust Your Covering Again Welcome to Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, live from London — reaching Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Chile. Psalm 91:4 (NIV): “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Salmo 91:4 “Ele o cobrirá com as Suas penas, e sob as Suas asas você encontrará refúgio; a fidelidade dele será o seu escudo.” “The Lord is my Shepherd.” “O Senhor é o meu Pastor.” “El Señor es mi Pastor.” Isaiah 40:31 (NIV): “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Isaías 40:31 “Mas aqueles que esperam no Senhor renovam as suas forças.” Jesus, as the first light of morning begins to touch the world, I lift my heart to You again. Through the quiet hours of the night You have watched over me, and now a new day begins under Your covering. Senhor Jesus, thank You for guarding this night and for bringing me safely to the beginning of this morning. As the light grows, renew my strength. Where tiredness still lingers in my body, restore me. Where my mind feels heavy, bring clarity. Where my heart feels uncertain, fill it with hope. Your Word says that those who trust in You will find new strength. So today I place my trust in You again. Protect my path. Guard my thoughts. Guide the steps I will take and the words I will speak. Jesús, bajo Tus alas encuentro refugio, paz y dirección. Just as the morning sun rises steadily across the sky, let Your peace rise steadily inside me. Teach me to walk through this day with courage and calm confidence. When challenges appear, remind me that Your faithfulness is my shield. Jesus, lead me beside still waters even in the middle of a busy day. Restore my soul again and again when the pressures of life try to weigh me down. Let Your wisdom shape every decision and Your presence steady every moment. Protect this home today. Protect the people I love. Protect the work I will do and the paths I must walk. Guard every step and every conversation. Jesus, I begin this day beneath Your wings. Your faithfulness is my shield. Your presence is my strength. With You beside me, I step into this morning with peace, courage, and hope Psalm 91, Psalm 23, Isaiah 40:31, morning prayer, Jesus my refuge, early morning devotional, Portuguese devotional, Spanish devotional, strength for the day, daily prayer podcast Jesus, strength, Psalm 91, morning prayer, esperança, descanso, protection, faith, courage, daily prayer
