Psalm 91:4 — Jesus, Cover My Life With Your Faithfulness As the Morning Begins and New Mercy Rises Welcome to Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, live from London. As the first light of morning begins to rise, we join listeners across Brazil, Chile, Peru, Portugal, and Canada. Together, wherever we are waking today, we begin the day resting under the shelter of Jesus. Psalm 91:4 (NIV) “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Psalm 23:3 (NIV) “He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” Lamentations 3:22–23 (NIV) “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lord Jesus, as the morning begins and the world slowly awakens, we come before You with thankful hearts. The night has passed, and a new day stands before us. Your Word reminds us that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness never fails. Wherever you are listening right now, pause for a moment and breathe deeply. Jesus is near. This new morning is not empty—it is filled with the quiet promise that God walks with you into every moment ahead. Jesús, guía nuestros pasos hoy. Lead us along the paths that bring peace and wisdom. Let every step we take today be guided by Your Spirit. Jesus Cristo, cobre nossa vida com tua fidelidade. Cover our lives with Your protection as Psalm 91 declares, and hold us close beneath Your wings where fear cannot reach us. Across these daily prayers we continue resting under the shelter of Psalm 91, trusting that Your faithfulness surrounds our lives. As Psalm 27 reminds us, the Lord is our light and our salvation—so we will not fear what this day may bring. Jesus, refresh every tired heart and restore every weary soul. Like the shepherd of Psalm 23, lead us beside quiet waters and guide us in the right direction. When uncertainty appears, remind us that Your presence walks with us. Today we step forward with quiet confidence. Your protection surrounds us, Your mercy leads us, and Your peace fills our hearts. Jesus, You are our refuge and our guide. Today we walk in Your peace. Today we trust Your faithfulness. Today we follow where You lead. Amen.
