Psalm 91:4 (NIV): “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” Salmo 91:4 — “Ele o cobrirá com Suas penas, e sob Suas asas você encontrará refúgio.” “He leads me beside quiet waters.” / “Ele me guia a águas tranquilas.” / “Él me guía junto a aguas de reposo.” Isaiah 40:31 (NIV): “They will soar on wings like eagles…” Isaías 40:31 — “Subirão com asas como águias…” Jesus, as the first light of morning stretches across the sky, I place this new day into Your hands. Before my thoughts gather speed, before expectations or responsibilities pull at me, I come beneath Your wings — meu abrigo seguro, mi refugio profundo — asking You to steady me. Cover my mind with Your calm. Cover my heart with Your strength. Cover my steps with Your presence so I do not walk ahead of Your grace. Where yesterday left me tired, renew me. Where my spirit feels thin, strengthen me. Where I anticipate pressure or uncertainty, remind me that You go before me, Jesús, meu Senhor, mi Señor. Lift my eyes above fear. Teach my breathing to slow. Let Your paz suave, Your calma profunda, fill the places where rest has not yet reached. Jesus, guide me into this day with courage that rises gently, esperança that takes root quietly, confiança that grows steadily. Guard my emotions so they do not run ahead of truth. Guard my decisions so they reflect Your wisdom. Guard my path so every step is held in Your cuidado amoroso, Your loving care. Under Your wings I find refuge. In Your presence I find strength. In Your promises I find direction. Jesus, lead me beside Your quiet waters today, and teach my heart to move in rhythm with Your peace.
