Night Prayer — Jesus, Cover Me and Hold Me Safely Through This Night Psalm 91:4 — Jesus, Cover Me Under Your Wings and Keep Me Secure in You Live from London, England São Paulo • Chicago • Nairobi • Manila • Madrid night prayer for protection • fear at night • safe in God • covering prayer • peace before sleep Psalm 91:4 (NIV): “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV): “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” Jesus, as this night settles around me, I come into Your covering. I do not remain exposed to fear—I come into the safety of Your presence. You are my refuge. You cover me gently, like a shelter that does not fail. Under Your care, I am protected. Under Your presence, I am secure. So I do not give space to fear. I do not allow anxious thoughts to take hold. I rest in the faithfulness that surrounds me. You are my shield. Jesus, strengthen me where I feel weak. Guard me where I feel vulnerable. Stand over me and around me as I rest. I do not face this night alone—I am held by You.
