Psalm 91:15 — Jesus, Meet Me in the Evening and Bring Peace to the Battles I Carried Through This Day Welcome to Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, live from London — reaching Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Chile. Psalm 91:15 (NIV) “He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.” Salmo 91:15 “Ele clamará a mim, e eu lhe darei resposta; estarei com ele na adversidade.” “The Lord is my Shepherd.” “O Senhor é o meu Pastor.” “El Señor es mi Pastor.” John 14:27 (NIV) “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Juan 14:27 “La paz les dejo; mi paz les doy.” Jesus, as this day begins to slow and the evening arrives, I come into Your presence carrying everything that this day has held. Some moments were good and encouraging, and other moments may have been heavy or uncertain. But in this quiet moment I remember that You have been with me through every hour. Lord Jesus, You promised that when we call upon You, You answer us and remain with us even in times of trouble. So I place every burden from this day into Your hands. Every worry, every unfinished task, every conversation that still weighs on my mind, I surrender it to You. Señor Jesús, Tú eres mi refugio al caer la tarde. When the noise of the day fades, Your voice becomes clearer. When my strength begins to fade, Your presence renews my heart. Your peace is not like the peace the world gives. It is deeper, steadier, and stronger than the pressures of life. Let that peace settle over my thoughts now. Calm every anxious place in my heart. Replace tension with trust and weariness with quiet confidence. Jesus, You are my Shepherd. Even when I cannot see the road ahead clearly, You guide me step by step. Your protection surrounds my life and Your faithfulness carries me through every season. Senhor Jesus, fortalece o meu coração nesta noite. Renew my spirit as the evening unfolds. Let Your presence remain close to my home, my family, and every place where Your peace is needed tonight. As the day closes, I rest in the promise that You have walked with me through every moment, and that You will continue to guide me into tomorrow. Jesus, thank You for Your presence, Your protection, and Your peace.
