The thoughts we pushed aside rise again. Our bodies slow. Our emotions loosen. And into this hour, Jesus speaks—not with pressure, not with demand, but with invitation: Come to Me. I will give you rest. Father, as Fortaleza exhales under the evening sky, as Braga softens into the quiet hours, as Cabinda settles, as Nampula slows, as Bogotá shifts from noise into reflection, You meet the heart that feels stretched, tired, drained, or overwhelmed. You see the strength we lost while trying to hold everything together. You understand the weariness that settled unnoticed. And You rescue not by force, but by presence—by reminding us that loved people are protected people. Jesus, restore the parts of us that feel frayed. Restore the peace that slipped through our fingers. Restore the courage that today demanded. Restore the patience worn thin. Restore the joy pressed down beneath responsibilities. And restore the sense of nearness that reminds us we are never carrying our lives alone. Lift the emotional heaviness that evening reveals. Settle the mind that still runs ahead. Soothe the heart that feels tender and stretched. And breathe rest into the places where exhaustion has built its home. Let this evening become a refuge—a moment where rescue feels real, where protection feels personal, and where rest becomes more than a desire but a gift given by the One who knows our limits and loves us still. As today closes, Jesus, gather the pieces of our strength. Renew them. Bless them.
