Psalm 91:14 — Jesus, Lift My Strength in the Middle of This Day and Remind Me That You Are Near Welcome to Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, broadcasting from London and reaching listeners across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. As the middle of the day arrives and many of us are carrying responsibilities, work, and decisions, we pause for a moment to bring this part of the day before Jesus. Psalm 91:14 (NIV) says: “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” Psalm 23 reminds us that the Lord is our shepherd who restores our soul and leads us along the right paths for His name’s sake. Even in the middle of busy moments, His presence is steady and faithful. Lord Jesus, in the middle of this day we pause to remember that You are with us. Where we feel pressure, bring calm. Where we feel tired, renew our strength. Where decisions feel heavy, bring clarity and wisdom. Help us walk through the rest of this day with patience and grace. Guard our thoughts and guide our actions so that our work, our conversations, and our choices reflect Your peace. Jesús, fortalece nuestros corazones hoy y llénanos con Tu paz. Jesus, fortalece os nossos corações hoje e renova a nossa força. Lord, remind us that Your presence is not distant. You are near in every moment of this day. Help us trust You with what remains ahead.
