Psalm 91:14 — Jesus, Lift My Spirit Today and Remind Me That Your Strength Is Greater Than Every Burden Welcome to Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, live from London. As the middle of the day arrives, we join listeners across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, and the United States. Wherever this prayer finds you—at work, at home, or on the move—take a quiet moment. Jesus is present with you in the middle of this day. Psalm 91:14 (NIV) “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” Psalm 23:5 (NIV) “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.” Romans 8:38–39 (NIV) “For I am convinced that neither death nor life… nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Lord Jesus, as the day reaches its busy centre, we pause and turn our hearts toward You. Responsibilities, pressures, and decisions may surround us, but Your Word reminds us that those who call upon Your name are never forgotten. Wherever someone is listening right now, pause for a moment and breathe deeply. Jesus is near. In the middle of the day, when energy may feel stretched and burdens feel heavy, Your presence renews our strength. Jesús, levanta nuestro espíritu hoy y llena nuestro corazón de esperanza. Jesus Cristo, fortalece nossa vida e guia nossos passos neste dia. Across nations and languages we place our trust in the same promise. Psalm 91 reminds us that You rescue and protect those who call on Your name. Your love surrounds us like a shield. As Psalm 23 speaks of the Shepherd preparing a table even in difficult circumstances, we remember that Your provision never fails. Even when the day feels challenging, You prepare peace in the middle of it. Jesus, lift every weary heart and bring calm to every anxious mind. Let Your wisdom guide every decision we make and let Your peace guard our thoughts. Today we move forward with quiet confidence. Your love holds us, Your protection surrounds us, and Your strength carries us through the rest of this day.Jesus, You are our refuge and our strength. Today we trust Your presence. Today we rest in Your care. Today we walk forward in Your peace. Amen.
