These late hours often reveal the quiet burdens I have carried without noticing, and I feel the need for consolo divino, the comfort that only Your presence can give. Senhor, segura meu coração — Lord, hold my heart — and steady the places that feel worn, stretched, or uncertain. You promise to rescue and protect the one who loves You, and so I rest in that promise now, trusting You to lift what has settled heavily on my spirit. Let esperança viva rise where discouragement tries to take root. Jesus, You understand the emotional fatigue that gathers as the day closes, and You meet me with compassion that renews rather than condemns. Fill these moments with the comfort that restores, the strength that softens anxiety, and the hope that looks forward without fear. When my thoughts feel frayed and my strength feels thin, breathe renewal into me. Let Your presence anchor me in ways I cannot anchor myself. Jesus, hold my heart firm and let Your love carry me through the rest of this evening with gentleness and peace.
