Psalm 91:1 — Resting in the Shadow of the Almighty When the Night Feels Uncertain Scripture (NIV): Psalm 91:1 — “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Isaiah 26:3 — “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” Across the world at this hour, people face fear, loneliness, and uncertainty as night settles. Global searches rise for protection, safety, and reassurance. In these quiet moments, God invites us into His shelter—strong, immovable, and full of peace. Prayer Father, as darkness settles, I rest beneath Your covering. Surround my home with Your protection. Guard my mind from fear, my heart from heaviness, and my sleep from disturbance. Where shadows intimidate, let Your presence shine brighter. Lift every burden I cannot carry and calm every thought that rises against peace. Tonight, be my defender, my comfort, and my hiding place. Let Your peace fill every room, silence every fear, and hold me through the night. I trust You, Lord—You are my shelter.
