Psalm 91:1 (NIV): “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Salmo 91:1 “Aquele que habita no abrigo do Altíssimo descansará à sombra do Todo-Poderoso.” “The Lord is my Shepherd.” “O Senhor é o meu Pastor.” “El Señor es mi Pastor.” John 14:27 (NIV): “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. Não se perturbe o seu coração, nem tenham medo.” Jesus, as midnight settles over the quiet hours of this new day, I come to You with the thoughts that still move through my heart. Some carry the weight of yesterday, others carry questions about tomorrow. Yet Your Word promises that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will find rest beneath Your shadow. So tonight I come close to You, Senhor Jesus. Gather my restless heart. Quiet the storms that sometimes rise in the silence of the night. Let Your presence become the shelter that surrounds my mind and my breathing. Where worry begins to form, speak Your peace. Where fear tries to whisper, bring Your calm. Guard my thoughts, proteger meu coração, and let Your gentle presence guide me into rest. Jesús, Tú eres mi refugio, mi descanso, mi paz en la noche. You are my Shepherd, leading me even when the road ahead is hidden in darkness. Guide me beside still waters tonight. Restore what is tired within me. Renew the strength that tomorrow will require. Place Your protection around this home. Guard the doors, guard the rooms, and guard the quiet moments of sleep that restore the body and mind. Send Your angels, as Your Word promises, to watch through these hours of rest. Let no fear settle here. Let no shadow disturb the peace that You are building. Jesus, I entrust tomorrow into Your hands. Walk with me through every moment that waits ahead. Give wisdom where decisions must be made and courage where strength will be needed. Tonight I rest beneath Your covering. Tonight my heart finds shelter. Tonight Your peace carries me safely into the new day that begins.
