Psalm 4:8 — Jesus, Let Me Sleep in Peace and Safety Tonight - Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making Daily Prayer part of your life and part of your day. As we pray together across the globe throughout the day, stay connected, return often, and let us continue this journey of prayer together. Psalm 4:8 (NIV) says: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 91 reminds us that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. As this new night begins, we place ourselves under Your covering and Your care. Lord Jesus, as we come into this quiet hour, we bring before You every thought, every concern, and every weight from this day. You see what remains in our hearts and minds as the world grows still. Let Your peace settle over us now. Where the mind is restless, bring stillness. Where the heart feels unsettled, bring calm. Where worry lingers, replace it with trust. Help us release everything into Your hands tonight. Remind us that we are safe in Your presence and that Your peace surrounds us completely. Jesús, danos descanso y cúbrenos con Tu paz esta noche.
