Psalm 4:8 — Jesus, Hold Me Through the Night and Establish Me in Undisturbed Rest - Live from London, England São Paulo • New York • Johannesburg • Manila • Madrid sleep prayer • night protection • anxiety at night • peaceful rest • safety in God Psalm 4:8 (NIV): “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 91:1–2 (NIV): “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” Jesus, as this new week begins and the night settles around me, I come into this moment seeking rest that is steady and undisturbed. The world grows quiet, but the mind can still move, and the heart can still carry what has not yet settled. Yet Your Word speaks peace directly into this hour. You establish me in safety. You cover me in Your presence. You draw me into a place of rest that is not fragile, but secure. So I release everything now. Every lingering thought, every concern about tomorrow, every weight that tries to follow me into this night—I place it into Your hands. I do not carry it forward. Jesus, hold me through this night. Establish my rest deeply. Let my body settle, my breathing slow, and my thoughts come into stillness. Let Your peace move through me and quiet every internal disturbance.
