Psalm 46:10 — Be Still: National Prayer for Japan

As evening settles across Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo and Hiroshima, many search for “prayer for my nation,” “peace for Japan,” “healing for the land,” and “God guide our future.” Psalm 46:10 speaks directly into that longing. God calls a nation to stillness, to peace, to trust, and to the knowledge that He alone is God. His presence brings calm where the culture feels pressured, healing where hearts feel tired, and strength where people feel stretched.
Japan carries beauty, discipline and resilience, yet many face quiet emotional pressure, uncertainty and restlessness. But the Lord has not forgotten Japan. He speaks peace over its cities, comfort over its people and hope over its future. His promise stands: He will be exalted in the nations and His presence will lead the way.
Lord Jesus, stretch Your hand over Japan. Bring peace to cities, healing to families, unity to communities and rest to anxious hearts. Strengthen pastors, leaders, young adults and students. Let revival rise in homes, workplaces and churches. Pour out Your Spirit on this nation and awaken hearts to Your presence.
