Some were shadows I did not expect; some were emotions I tried to hide; some were questions that still feel unanswered. Yet Your word speaks into the night: “Ainda que eu ande pelo vale mais escuro, Tu estás comigo.” Tonight, let this truth steady my breathing and lift my heart. I am not alone in this valley. You walk with me, step by step, even when I cannot see the way forward. Your voice cuts through the heaviness of the evening, reminding me of light, hope, and purpose. “Eu sou a luz do mundo.” Jesus, illuminate the paths I cannot yet understand and bring clarity to the thoughts that feel tangled. Let Your light reach into the corners of my mind where worry tries to linger, and let Your presence reshape the atmosphere within me. Tonight, I ask You to lift my eyes beyond the shadows and toward the quiet hope You place before me. Where fear whispers, bring courage. Where sorrow settles, bring comfort. Where the future feels uncertain, bring the assurance that Your hand is guiding me. “A Tua luz dá vida ao meu coração.” Let that life rise gently within me tonight, restoring strength that has drained away through the day. Jesus, breathe renewed courage into my spirit as this night unfolds, reminding me that every valley is temporary and every step is held in Your grace. As I rest, surround me with Your peace.
