Psalm 23:1 — Jesus, You Are My Shepherd, Let Me Rest Without Fear rest • surrender • covering Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making Daily Prayer part of your life and part of your day. As we come to the final moments of this day, we enter into rest, placing everything into the care of the Good Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 (NIV) says: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” Psalm 91 reminds us that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord Jesus, as we prepare to sleep, we surrender this day fully into Your hands. Every moment. Every burden. Every thought. We release it all. Lead us into rest. Cover us with peace. Let Your presence bring deep calm within us. Where there is any remaining fear, remove it. Where there is tension, bring ease. Where there is restlessness, bring stillness. Jesus, You are our Shepherd. Jesús, Tú eres nuestro Pastor, danos descanso profundo y paz esta noche. Jesus, Tu és o nosso Pastor, dá-nos descanso profundo e paz nesta noite.
