Psalm 122:6 — Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem in a Troubled World From London to Jerusalem, from Jerusalem to New York, from New York to Lagos, from Lagos to Manila, from Manila to São Paulo — the world gathers for prayer. Scripture (NIV): Psalm 122:6 — “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.’” Isaiah 62:6–7 — “You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem…”
Across the world tonight anxiety over the Middle East remains one of the highest searched themes. People are looking for hope, clarity, and peace. In these uncertain moments we lift Israel, Jerusalem, and the nations before God, asking Him to intervene where human strength fails. Prayer Father, tonight we pray for Israel, for Jerusalem, and for every family living with fear, uncertainty, and unrest. Stretch out Your hand of mercy across the land. Bring protection over civilians, wisdom to leaders, safety for hostages, comfort to the grieving, and strength to those who feel forgotten. Lord, speak peace where there is tension, reconciliation where there is hostility, and divine restraint where anger rises. Surround the borders with Your presence, shield the innocent, and silence every plan of violence. Let compassion triumph over hatred and let justice flow like a river. For those watching the news with heavy hearts, bring calm to anxious minds. For believers worldwide, awaken intercession with hope, not fear. Tonight, Lord, let Your peace rest upon Israel, and let Your light break into every shadowed place. We trust You, we look to You, and we give You no rest until peace rises over Jerusalem.
